Editorial policy
Prime Cinema Review aims to make film discussion clear, fair and enjoyable to follow. We distinguish interpretation from verifiable detail, check factual statements with care and correct errors when we find them.
Accuracy and interpretation
We take care with names, credits, dates and descriptions of film techniques. When a point can be checked, we seek dependable supporting material; when a piece offers an interpretation, we present it as a reading rather than a settled fact. We do not claim first-hand viewing or research that did not take place.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the usefulness and clarity of the writing, not to secure favourable treatment for a film, company or partner. A collaboration does not promise coverage, praise or a particular conclusion.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error, contact us with the article title, the passage in question and any helpful supporting information. We review credible reports and correct material where warranted, making the change clear when it affects the substance of a piece.
Partnerships and illustrations
Material created with a partner, or supported by a partner, is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when they are, we identify them as such and do not present them as documentary images.
Watching closely makes room for surprise
There is no test to pass here. Pick one choice in a film and see where it leads; sometimes the most interesting detail is the one you nearly missed.
